This summer is definitely going to be a time when I’m going to get on top of all the different house jobs that need to be done. I’m not one of those people who enjoys doing DIY projects, so that means they all tend to be saved up until I really need to do them which is definitely not a good way of doing it. I thought that if I posted some of my DIY projects on this blog I’d have more chance of doing it because you’ll be able to keep me accountable!

The first thing I need to do is hire someone to get rid of the asbestos on the garage roof. I’ve been meaning to do this for ages, but it slipped my attention because it’s apparently not a dangerous type of asbestos and is already encased in concrete. Even so, if that is something that I want to get rid of as it makes you uncomfortable knowing that it is there.

Another thing I need to do is install a new shower, which is something that I’m going to attempt to do myself. I know that it can be quite a difficult job, which is why going to get some advice from online forums, but I want to save the money and also get a new shower.

Other DIY project that I need to do this summer include putting up a new set, fixing some of the loose door handles around the house, and completely tidying up and organising the garage.
