For any who might be interested, last Monday’s PTAC-AEF School Board Candidate Forum is now online (in “chapter” form) via the AEF website.

This is a reminder that Monday night at 7pm at Alameda High’s “Little Theater” (just east of the corner of Central and Walnut) the PTA Council and AEF are co-sponsoring a “forum” for the candidates for the AUSD School Board.

After reading the relevant statutes once again (especially Ed Code section 5091(b)), it now appears likely (but not yet certain) that a School Board vacancy would have to occur at least 130 days before the regularly scheduled election (i.e., before now) in order for the “special election” to be consolidated with the regular scheduled election.
